AbouT Barny

Barny started his music journey at the age of 14 with the purchase of his first electric guitar. He then soon became a member of many bands covering all possible genres. Barny carried on with sheer determination and secured shows supporting Ed Sheeran and Ben Howard back when he was just 19. Barny joined many bands over the years after this and had the privilege to support other great bands such as 'The First' and 'Mallory Knox'.

In 2011 Barny Joined a Duo Named De' Vide whom came second to supporting Neyo at the O2 Arena and were featured on Jessie J's team on the hit TV series The Voice UK. They also had songs played on BBC Radio and played at many huge festivals such as: Sundown, Brighton Pride, Astonbury festival and Art Football (which included a 10 day tour of Russia) and placed on the line up with huge artists such as Jessie J, Katie B & Tinchy Stryder. Barny also played at many of these events as a solo artist.

He has showcased his work with local stations in Suffolk, Norfolk and London including BBC 1 Extra, BBC Introducing and DJ Targets Show Homegrown as well as being in a collaboration with which was featured on BBC R1 with Charlie Sloth and SBTV.

In 2015 Barny teamed up producer Kayzee and created his debut EP titled 'Iter Itneris' (The Journey) which had a great response and soon gained the attention of BBC Introducing whom played some of the tracks on their show. This has sparked enthusiasm for more EP's to come and eventually an album. After gigging for many years he has accomplished so much and does not intend to stop any time soon. He is as professional as he is sincere.

With his well prepared knowledge of musical influences, he challenges himself with creating a great deal of gutsy covers and huge mash ups along with his own original songs from times past, present and future.
